Diet Is The Natural Way Of Curing Acne

Statistics show that there are many people who suffer from acne, also commonly known as pimple. This is especially true to those who are in their teens. But, it’s not only teens who suffer from insecurities because of these and the scars they left behind. Even those in their 30’s and 40’s also suffer from the dilemma brought about by acne and acne scars.

There are many products in the market claiming to cure your problem but they haven’t. Actually, you can cure your pimples without using medical prescriptions or dangerous drugs. Take a look at your diet for example. Many people would say that the food we eat have nothing to do with it.

There are also some who would say they do. Maybe those who say that this have nothing to do with it belong to those people who are lucky enough to have genes that are not pimple prone, or have just simply not noticed it. And what about those who are not as lucky as those who were blessed with genes that are not pimple prone? Take fatty or oily foods for instance. Studies show that they cause acne. Why? The reason behind is that they disturb your hormones which causes imbalance, down to the cellular level. When your hormones are disturbed, they react abnormally. One of the abnormal reactions is to cause the sebaceous gland to produce too much oil thereby clogging the pores.

When pores are clogged and infected, it is a natural reaction of your skin to inflame to expel the dirt clogging your pores. The inflammation is what is known as acne or pimples. They commonly occur on your face, but this is not the only part in your body. They also occur on your back, head, ears, and even on your private parts and inside your nostrils! If foods can cause acne, they can cure them too.

The solution to your problem lies only in your hands! What’s more? Since fatty and oily foods are not healthy, they also cause your weight problem if you happen to be overweight. Amazing isn’t it? You will be able to solve your pimple problem in one hand, and your weight problem on the other.

This is like hitting two birds with just one stone! We just have to be careful with what we eat. But how can we be careful when we don’t know what food we are going to eat to prevent and cure our acne and what food we should avoid? Be smart.

Eat healthy foods like fruits and vegetables. They are the natural cure for stopping acne. But take note that not all fruits and vegetables do not cause pimples, they do too. This is where knowledge of foods and their chemical content comes in. Make a list of such foods. Start it now.
