The Back Acne Skin Beauty Issue

Wednesday, March 18, 2009

Back acne is pimples on the back. Other people won’t generally see them, unless of course the back is bared. And baring the back is one of the sexiest trends nowadays. But how can a naked back be sexy when it has pimples? Back acne is one of the forms of body acne.

Body pimples are not only found on the back, but the chest as well. Pimples on the back and chest may not appear so common primarily because they aren’t exposed that much. Nevertheless, they are blemishes on the skin. If you want to have flawless skin and be impeccably beautiful, you’d find back acne annoying.

So what would you do to get rid of this skin beauty dilemma? You may have had facial acne at some points, if not at the moment. Perhaps you’ve resorted to facial acne treatments to deal with this problem. But would such products be effective for body pimples as well? In some cases, they are not.

Products for facial pimples may not be able to treat chest and back acne. At times, treatments for the latter would need a different or stronger formulation. Facial skin is more sensitive than skin on most other body parts. What’s more is that body acne tends to easily worsen. The area tends to be more in contact with clothes and other materials which can irritate the skin.

The condition can then become severe making it more difficult to treat. But a treatment regimen for back acne is quite similar to that of facial acne. Similar in a sense that a daily, regular application is needed- a regimen. This may consist of applying cleanser and moisturizer. But as you may well imagine, applying them on the back will not be as easy as doing so on the face.

Pimples on the body need more meticulous treatment. They easily get worsened, as mentioned. Clothes are worn over them which can cause further irritation. When wearing tight clothes, sweat can also rub on the skin and the pimples and cause excessive sebum production. What would usually result is a breakout- of unsightly pimples on the area.

Other than clothes, another aggravating factor is the use of backpacks, which involves, well, the back. Heavy backpacks worn over the shoulders can aggravate pimples growing within the area. After all, there is rubbing, and therefore more chances of irritation. So if pimples happen to be a problem for you in those areas, stop using backpacks in the meantime.

A shoulder bag would be a good alternative in such an instance. Allow your skin condition to heal first- with time and treatments. And if you are so eager on using backpacks, use it once your back acne is cured. Crucial factors to consider for treatment are the severity of the skin condition, and which skin type you have.

Body acne conditions are often categorized as mild, moderate and severe, and there are suitable treatments for each. The same is the case for different skin types – dry, oily or combination. Specific products are designed and formulated for each sort. So don’t just rush to the store and pick the first acne treatment product for your skin condition.

Get to know the nature of your condition first to be able to apply which is right and most fitting. That’s how it is with beauty and keeping yourself beautiful- being keen and paying attention to every detail of yourself, and applying the most proper care.
