Jawline Acne Symptom is Mostly Preventable!

Jawline Acne Symptom, like other acne, is caused by clogged pores but how they become clogged is almost completely preventable.
A person’s long hair can repeatedly brush or rest against their jawline, rubbing natural oils on the face. This will aggravate existing acne as well as slowing down the healing process. If the hair is cut short, tied back or otherwise away from the face, most of the problem is solved. Some acne sufferers don’t care to have short hair and like the long, loose look of their hair so they think they’re compensating by washing it every day. Rather than helping their acne, they’re actually making it worse! Since healthy hair needs natural oils, the body must compensate for the daily loss and thus produces even more oils throughout the hair and face.
Sweat is full of oils and toxins that cause acne and when it drips down a person’s face, especially along the jawline, it will clog the pores resulting in acne breakouts. Sweatbands during recreation or exercise can help alleviate this problem. Washing the face thoroughly, including the jawline and neck will also help but take care not to over cleanse and cause your system to compensate by producing even more oil.
Another preventable cause of jawline acne is our hands. Many people, especially students, have a habit of resting their faces on their hands which contain body oils and, in spite of frequent washings, trap a lot of dirt and pollution which transfers to the face. Since dirt and oils are major contributors to acne, this can cause or worsen the condition.
Makeup is also the enemy of healthy skin, clogging the pores by caking in the crevices and creases of the face. Makeup specially made for sensitive skin or that is hypoallergenic can lessen the impact but if possible should be avoided. There are medicated cover-up products for acne that helps healing as well as disguising the blemishes that would probably be a better solution.
As you can see, keeping your face clean is one of the most important things you can do to prevent or control acne. If you can prevent your hair from touching your face and keep your hands away from it, acne will be much less of a problem.
